Meet Dr. Andrushenko

Irina Andrushenko, O.D. is an optometrist at Desert Vista Eye Specialists, serving patients in Phoenix. Dr. Andrushenko specializes in primary eye care and ocular disease treatment in adults and children.

 A native of Ukraine, Dr. Andrushenko earned her Doctor of Optometry degree from Southern California College of Optometry. Prior to that, she graduated from the University of West Florida with a Master of Communication Arts degree.

Dr. Andrushenko served for more than a decade as Chief of the Tse’hootsooi’ Medical Center Optometry Department and its’ two state-of-the-art eye clinics in Fort Defiance and Sanders. Her primary focus was on diagnosis, treatment and co-management of advanced ocular conditions, including glaucoma, corneal, retinal, and neurological eye diseases in a multi-disciplinary hospital setting.

Dr. Andrushenko is passionate about helping patients improve their vision and eye health. She joined Desert Vista Eye Specialists group in July 2023. In her spare time, she enjoys spending time with her children and family, and travelling both in and out of the country.
