Meet Dr. Blare

Bryan “Kelly” Blare, O.D. is an optometrist at Desert Vista Eye Specialists, serving patients in Mesa, AZ. Dr. Blare has a clinical passion for treating patients with ocular emergencies and difficult cases.

Dr. Blare is an Arizona native with an undergraduate degree in biology from Northern Arizona University and an optometry degree from Pacific University College of Optometry. He has an extensive clinical background with experiences including the development of high-volume patient bases, teaching clinical skills and mentoring optometry interns, acting as a support liaison to his peers, and establishing long-lasting relationships with his patients. He is well versed in providing high-quality optometry care for patients with glaucoma, red eyes, diabetic retinopathy, dry eye disease, retinal diseases, and specialty contact lens fits.

Dr. Blare enjoys traveling with his wife to see their children and grandchildren and has a passion for connecting with them through outdoor experiences such as Scouting and hunting. He also volunteers time to Outdoor Experience 4 All to help Wounded Warriors and youth with life threatening illnesses.
